Do you know if you're going to Heaven?
"I'm basically a 'good person'. As long as I continue to be good, I'll get to heaven."
"I follow the Ten Commandments very closely. Isn't that what being Christian is all about?"
"I show up at church every Sunday. That proves I'm a Christian."
"I always give my ten percent to the church. I've earned my right into heaven!"
ARE YOU SAVED? DROWNING IN SIN AND CONFUSION? DO YOU KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO HEAVEN TO BE WITH OUR FATHER WHEN YOU DIE? DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE STATEMENTS LISTED ABOVE. ACCEPTING JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET TO HEAVEN!
John 14:6 says: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Follow these steps...
1) First, understand that we are all separated from God by our sins.
2) Believe that Christ died on the cross for you so that there is now a way for you to come to God...through Jesus!
3) Confess your sins and repent. Ask forgiveness for your sins in Jesus' name.
4) Ask Jesus into your heart today. Claim Him as your own! Be part of the Family of God!
And He made it so simple for us. Pray this prayer:
Heavenly Father, I know I'm a sinner. I ask forgiveness for all my wrongdoings. Only You know what's in my heart. I'm sorry for my transgressions, Lord, and I want You to turn my heart around. Come into my heart today, Lord. I believe that Christ took my place on that cross when he died so that I would have a path to God and I accept Him today as my Savior. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
If you prayed this prayer and meant it in your heart, HALLELUJAH and GLORY BE TO GOD!!! You're SAVED!
Now what? You'll want to have a very personal relationship with Jesus. He just gave you eternal life!
Talk to Him daily, ask forgiveness if you stumble back into sin. Read and study the Bible. This Book is God's Word. Find out what He has in store for you. Come to church for more knowledge and understanding of Christ and the Bible.
Tell others! "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who ask you to give the reason for the hope that you have." (1 Peter 3:15) Don't you want everyone you know to receive the free gift of life that YOU received today?
"No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light." Luke 11:33
