It’s more than just a dress!
Although clothing is needed, these little dresses are so much more. They go as little Ambassadors into the homes and villages where we are able to teach simple lessons clean water, and sanitation and to promote good health and family skills knowledge. As relationships are formed we are able to identify other needs that can be met through your generosity.
Relief-supply kits help provide care for the most vulnerable people during times of crisis.
Kits help sustain everyday life for people who lack ready access to essential supplies. They provide vital support for UMCOR’s global development work and make a tangible difference in people’s lives

Prayer Quilts
Our prayer quilts combine the gift of prayer with the gift of a hand-tied quilt.
Each Knot Represents a Prayer
The idea behind these prayer quilts is simple. A heavy thread is used to take stitches through the quilt layers, and the ends are left free to be tied with a square knot. As each knot is tied, a silent prayer is offered for someone in need. The quilt is then given to that person. Prayer is symbolically tied into each one. These "comforters" are a statement of faith, and a testimony to our belief in God and in the power of prayer.

Foster Kids Duffel Bags
Mission D.B. is a youth-driven project working to eradicate the use of garbage bags for moving foster kids between foster homes and group homes. Your donation will mean the world to one child! Right now to make things easy, kids' precious belongings are tossed into garbage bags. This sends a message to the kids that their belongings are trash and it damages their already fragile self-esteem. We want to eliminate practice in Indiana County and give all kids and youth reusable bags to put their possessions in. The youth on the Independent Living Youth Advisory Board have had to use garbage bags and want to see this changed. Please consider being a part of this important project!
